I'm Drew M. and this is my story
How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?
At my heaviest, I was 230lbs roughly 30% body fat. 2 years later (1 year of Bigger Leaner Stronger) at 160lbs 11-12% body fat.
What has happened so far on the program?
At my heaviest, I was 230lbs, roughly 30% body fat, maybe more. Then decided to get in shape, (starving myself and a lot of cardio) and dropped to about 188lbs and around 25% body fat. Got tired of that and stopped for a while. Then I found Bigger Leaner Stronger and it all moved really fast from there.
I cut again (using Mike’s principles this time) and dropped to about 20% body fat at 173 lbs. I was still unhappy with my overall look, so I decided to really dig in one more time. Started in January of 2018 and cut till May 1st, now at 160lbs at 11-12% body fat.
What workout split from the book did you use?
Started with the 4-day split, and now moved on to the 5-day split. ALMOST ready to upgrade to the Beyond Bigger Leaner Stronger.
What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?
I tried every diet you could think of — Keto, Paleo, had a coach at one point, and even just plain starving myself. None of them worked for me. Your video about flexible dieting really made me want to give it one more shot. I am glad I did.
What do you like most about the program?
My favorite aspect was your no BS attitude towards all aspects of lifting and dieting. Straight and to the point. Once you get some traction with consistency you realize it’s a lifestyle more so than dieting.
How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?
The diet is far and beyond easier to adhere to. The training side with heavy lifting is loads more fun than any other high rep crap I have tried.
How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?
The beach ain’t so bad no more. I also have a completely new wardrobe!
Who would you recommend this program to and why?
Literally everyone, from my brother to my grandmother.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Consistency is key, once you get that down it all becomes really easy. Also, start saving money for some new clothes, they ain’t cheap!
Did you use any Legion supplements?
I use watermelon Recharge on the daily!
