    Hey Mike 🙂
    I have a question:
Will doing heavy barbell glute bridges add muscle mass to the calves, or will it just add mass to the hamstrings and glutes? I’m definitely not interested in building any mass in my calves since I was born with muscular calves. (I’m female btw.)
I just know it’s a really good excercise for the glutes, so I would really like to incorporate it into my routine, if it does not target the calf muscles 🙂

    • Hey Rikke! The exercise will hit your glutes, not your calves.

Thank you for your reply! 🙂

  • I LOVE how fast you attacked each of these questions. You gave complete, honest answers and got through so many questions! THANK YOU!!! One of these days I’ll actually make it to the live one 🙂

    • Thanks! Yeah lots of them haha. Glad you liked it! Hope to see you at the live one.

  • Sam

    Hi Mike.

I am a fan of your books & in particular your exercise programmes & philosophies regarding heavy weight / low rep training. However I wonder if you share my concerns about the possible negative impact of excessive calorie counting & concerns about physical appearance.

A lot of your followers/fans seem to have an obsession with their diet & physical appearance. Just in this Podcast you have questions from a guy with only 8% body fat who is unhappy with his abs & a guy who is unhappy with the appearance of his stomach when he sits in certain positions. I have also read questions on other pages regarding people who are unhappy with the size of certain individual body parts (rather than being happy with what they have achieved).

Are you worried about people using your website & developing unhealthy relationships with exercise & food, or even disorders such as orthorexia or body dysmorphia?

    • Thanks Sam! I appreciate the support.

Remember that a big part of this game is improving the way you look and some people just have higher standards than others.

That said, all of us tend to be dissatisfied with what we have, whether it’s physical looks/performance, money, etc.
