    Hi mike, I’m about five weeks into a bulking plan you set me – all going well had to increase carbs by 25 after two weeks as there still wasn’t a change in my weight – I feel like I’ve put on fat and not as lean now even though I’ve put on only 1.5 pounds total in 5 weeks! Why do you think this is? Ever experienced this? Cheers james

        No worries. Feels like I’m eating sooo much haha I’ll increase carbs again by 25! 🙂

            Thanks mike. How much weight do you think is a good amount to put on for a bulk? I know you say to hover between ten and fifteen per cent but how many pounds is a good amount to aim for? 🙂

            That depends on your height and genetics. Really hard to throw out a one-size-fits-all number.

            Ok thanks mike i understand. I’m finding it a chor to eat so much food lol. I’m eating a lot of fruit and veg and getting at least 45g fibre in a day. Layne norton wrote that when you are eating so many carbs (I’m at 500 a day nearly now) it’s good to eat some ‘bad carbs’ as you don’t want to get TOO much fibre in – as it can start to cause negative problems. What do you think? Cheers james
