I'm Niels V. and this is my story
What has happened so far on the program?
I have gained a noticeable amount of muscle mass and also a lot of strength. And that is considering that before starting the program I had already been working out for almost a year. For instance I started curling 18 kg (40lbs) dumbbells when starting the program in December 2013 but now I curl 22 kg (50lbs) in February 2014. This pattern goes for all the exercises. It’s exciting to witness such drastic changes in such a short time 🙂
What do you like most about the program?
The science behind it – and I can’t stress that enough. I really love the fact that the program is based on scientific research and not just some stupid bro-science about muscle pumps or that sort of thing, like my last program. When you’ve read the book you know that this is the real deal and not just some sort of marketing stunt.
What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?
The only thing that almost kept me from buying the book was the fact that I was already doing a specific workout routine and wouldn’t bother changing it because of “all the new stuff I then had to learn”. However, I’m glad that I did because it had a great and impressive impact on my physique very quickly.
What are three other benefits of the program?
The knowledge you get about dieting.
The simplicity – the program is very simply structured. Nothing to be confused or misled about.
The detailed descriptions of crucial compound exercises like the bench press, the squat and the deadlift.
Would you recommend this program? If so, why?
Without a doubt. Friends are already asking about which workout program I use so the recommendation happens almost automatically. Not only do you get great gains quickly, but you (perhaps more importantly) also get a great fundamental understanding of how our body works. You get schooled in the most awesome way!
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
For heavens sake just read Bigger Leaner Stronger! It will have a very positive impact on your life.
