    As always, Mike, good job emphasising the compound lifts. My reservation with the podcast is this:

    There is a discussion of supplements and recovery aids. I would argue that most or all of these are unnecessary if greater effort is made to ensure that training is not excessive.

    In exercise media we too often see advice that amounts to “overtrain on this program then treat the side effects with this expensive supplement barrage”.

      I totally agree but there are two backed by good science and that I actually like: creatine and l-carnitine l-tartrate.

    Hey mike, I bought a gaba suplement , and i it helps allot. If i take 2-3 before bed, and just lay there. i fall asleep as a rock. But on the internet i find allot of mixt things about this product. Some people say its super safe. While other people say its super dangerous and it makes u stupid and u even can get in a coma. I have to admid , that when i have a sleep with gaba , the next day my head feels heavy.

    is there any research on this? I try to only use it when i am really restless or have allot of sleep dept.
