I worked out in running shoes for the longest time and a few months ago, I decided to make the switch to a shoe better suited to lifting–that is, one that had a thin, flat sole, which improves stability during exercises like Squats, Deadlifts, Standing Presses, and so forth.
I settled on the New Balance MX20 NB Minimus Training Shoe because it’s light, versatile, high quality, comfortable, and not too expensive. I ended up liking them so much that I now wear them around everywhere.
After over three months of wearing them basically every day for most of the day, and even wearing them for my weekly table tennis lessons which involve a ton of moving about (don’t knock it ’till you’ve tried it), they show little to no signs of wear.
These are a great buy.
