What has happened so far on the program?

I have improved tremendously! I went from not being able to do a pull up to being able to do five in a set and total of 11 in a workout. My snoring at night has decreased, my blood pressure is normal again, and my acid reflux is gone.

I had back pains from a bulging disc after an accident last year, and strengthening my back muscles has made pains go away almost completely. I can squat and deadlift now!

What do you like most about the program?

I love that the program is laid out in an easy to understand manner and includes nutrition, supplements, and different programs for gaining, maintaining, and cutting. It is also nice to have scientific studies backing up the claims.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I was under the impression that in order to lose weight one had to do a ton of cardio. I thought heavy lifting was for muscle heads and would only make me look bigger. A friend of mine who is very fit and lean told me about it (Bigger Leaner Stronger), and he has the type of look I want, so I decided to give it a shot.

What are three other benefits of the program?

If you have questions, they are answered promptly. This is not just a “take your money and run” deal. Also, the results come quickly, and you’ll start feeling better and your clothes will fit better within a few weeks.

The program has an accompanying set of cookbooks that will help you get results even faster, and they’re very affordable. They even have vegetarian meals!

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this program. I feel better, my fiancee is happier (for many reasons), and it’s very easy to follow. You don’t have to spend hours at the gym every day. It’s all laid out there for you. And when you hit your goal of weight loss or muscle gain, the program lays out all next steps to bulk or cut properly.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

If you follow the advice in the book exactly as its laid out, it will work. No need to take drugs, or weird weight loss pills. I’ve lost fat faster doing Mike’ program than any diet pill ever helped me do. I’m still a work in progress, but after one year I have made a huge impact. I can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Played football and wrestled most my youth, am now 22 and finally got back into lifting recently after about a year and a half off. Started reading your articles and applied the workouts you describe throughout them and have gained about ten pounds of muscle and am now sitting at about 176 , I’m 5’7″ and am about 13.6% BF. I’m worried about over training because I can’t keep myself out of the gym considering I just got hired at golds recently. I workout 5 days a week and do some HIIT on Saturday on my bicycle, Sunday’s off. What do you suggest? I keep it up at the same pace or slow it down a little

    • Great job man! That rocks! Haha it sounds like you’re okay. If you keep your lifting to 5-6 hours per week and intense cardio to under 2, you should be fine.
