What has happened so far on the program?

I bought Bigger Leaner Stronger and a couple of other audio books because I was interested in general health, nutrition and fitness. I didn’t initially buy the book to start any particular program but this is when it eventually started to come together.

I started to understand about TDEE, correct macro nutrient ratios to build muscle and most importantly how to train with weights. Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Presses and Military Presses were never in my routine before, I didn’t even know what there were and had to look them up on the internet.

The audio book BLS proved to be the most useful to me, it was easy to follow and almost immediately I started to see results.

What do you like most about the program?

This is the first program that I’ve tried, I particularly like it because I can adapt it to what I like to do. I keep the main lifts as recommended in BLS in all my workouts and add in others that I enjoy doing but always follow the BLS principles.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

The health benefits are phenomenal, improved blood pressure, energy levels, stamina and I actually enjoy eating a healthy diet, tracking calories and training.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

From the start you got to want to do this, you can`t just give it 50 or 60%. It is 100% or nothing with both nutrition and training until you reach your goal.

    I can’t believe how amazing his transformation is. His ‘old’ physique is practically identical to mine in terms of body fat and shape. Can you tell me what his Kcal were for the programme? And ratio fat:carb:protein? Many thanks,

    Looks amazing! I’m wondering what this gentleman’s age is and was he using anything like testosterone replacement therapy, steroids of any kind, fat burners, etc.or was it a strict following of your program alone? TRT is legal and easily obtained from a GP for older men. I’m currently reading BLS.

    • Good questions. He didn’t mention any drug use but he was using a few supplements that I recommend.
