What has happened so far on the program?

I am 31 years old and in 2 months on the Bigger Leaner Stronger program I went from 196 lbs at 13% body fat to 185 lbs at about 9% body fat.

Using this program I have been able to improve my squats from a max of 225 lbs to about 300 lbs.

Before BLS, I was cutting for a long time and I was losing strength big time. But after starting BLS, my lifts went back up even while cutting.

I have lost about 12 lbs of fat since starting the program and I am able to see my abs for the first time in my life.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

It seemed to good to be true. I didn’t believe that I could rest so long in between sets on and still see results.

In the past, I bought several workout plans and all seemed to be following the next big thing in workouts.

None of them worked and I saw no improvements in my strength or my body.

What do you like most about the program?

It is simple and straight to the point. No fancy jargon or changing things up to keep your body guessing.

It is just good old-fashioned hard work and heavy weights and the program worked for me just as it said.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

This program can be used for anyone who wants to see results. It’s easy and simple, but effective all at the same time.

I also like that Mike Matthews backs up his arguments with actual research, not just “it worked for me so it will work for you” promises.

The diet made it easier for me to make it into a lifestyle and I didn’t have to restrict what I eat a lot. I was strict with it, but flexible enough that I can enjoy a pizza once in a while too.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I am so confident now that I am even doing the WBFF show to show off my new body in the transformation category.

My energy is great and I am more level-headed because I’m not starving.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

You can do it! My body transformation started 15 months ago and I have been able to lose over 123 lbs.

Before this book, I was losing weight but also lost strength. This book helped me gain muscle while losing fat and now I am strong and fit.

I also started using Legion Forge and Phoenix during my cut to help me reduce my body fat percentage even further.
