What has happened so far on the program?

I have gotten significantly stronger, have surpassed my plateaus and have never looked better in my life. I feel and look great.

What do you like most about the program?

The simplicity of it. It seems like everything about the Bigger Leaner Stronger series is raw, factual, scientifically-proven information without the trendy frill. It’s the simple, basic truth and the way you educate people gives them a broader understanding of why these principles work.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I have tried so many workout programs, have read magazines, blogs, joined forums and have taken advice from friends and other gym-goers (who usually weren’t in fantastic shape themselves). Mostly all of it has been bogus and fitness fads. Most of it was even weird–“gain 3 inches on your biceps in one day by this weird 12-hour-straight-workout-routine.” After years of odd info, you begin to grow pessimistic.

What are three other benefits of the program?

I have more energy than ever–this, above everything else, is the greatest benefit of all. More energy means that I get more done during the day, raising my morale and causing me to be happier and more productive, which in  turn gets me closer to my career goals.

Aside from that, I look the best I have ever looked. I got down to about 7.5% body fat, which has been something I had real trouble getting down to before. Looking better also tends to raise your self-confidence in life, which is a great side bonus.

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

Yes, I have recommended this program to mostly all of my friends. I recommend it to the people who actually want to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle. Everyone that I have gotten on the program so far absolutely LOVES it. Their physical and mental gains have been very comparable to mine.

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Love everything you do, Mike. Showing people the route to a healthier lifestyle is a real honorable thing.

    These are awesome results! Great job!

    I have a quick question though: did you do a bulk and cut or gradual weight/muscle gain? My starting point would be very similar to your first photo. I’ve read the books and Mike’s articles and I’m torn on which approach to try.
