Before I was 60 kg and about 25% body fat and in the after photos I am 55kg and 20% body fat.
These pictures represent just over 1 years worth of progress.
I cut for the first 12 weeks and then intermittently cut and maintained for the rest of the program. I only lost about 5 kg overall, but my strength has progressed significantly!
My deadlift went from 30kg to 90kg, bench from 25kg to 40kg, squat from 30kg to 55kg, and military press from 15kg to 22.5kg.
Unfortunately I suffered from a couple of injuries 11 months into the program–I am currently building back up gradually!
The 5-day split–I started with the 3 day split but very quickly got addicted to working out, haha. So I switched to the 5-day split!
The results were super quick and everyone was noticing within the first 8-12 weeks.
It was also so much fun–I loved having a program to follow and being completely in control of what I ate and knowing why I was eating that way.
I’ve only ever done my own thing in the gym based on what I’d seen in magazines or things I’d picked up from others. No other program has ever changed my body the way Thinner Leaner Stronger has!
I’m so much more confident and I now have a good social support group of like-minded people. I feel like I’ve become my true self!
Anyone who wants to change their body shape rather than just losing weight and anyone with an interest in starting to weight lift.
Once you start seeing results it’s amazing–you feel so good! Also, consistency is key! Learn to love the challenge!
