What has happened so far on the program?

In 5 months time I’ve lost only 4 pounds but my body fat did go down from approx 16% to 8%. The big lift’s like Squats and Deadlifts (which I never did before) did go up fast. Started both at 120 lbs and doubled it in 5 months. I’m benching 205 at this moment.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I haven’t hit the gym in more than 5 years before I start training again. That time I wasn’t happy with the results in over more than 2 years training.

I decided to do a little research on the Internet this time. Quickly I ended up on Mike’s site, ordered the book within minutes. What he describes in the book and all the great articles on his site convinced me in a way nobody ever did the gym.

What do you like most about the program?

Lifting heavy instead of 10 to 12 reps and logging my workouts gave me so much satisfaction. Every week I see results in the weights I lift. I also like the fact that I gain muscle with workouts shorter than 1 hour

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

I have trained before doing the exercises all the “experts” told me. Many drop sets and super sets, 10 to 12 reps per set. Now I am done in 50 minutes and feel great. This is the first time I’m eating clean and building lean muscle.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I have more energy and my confidence has grown. I also sleep better. It is all very positive in my daily life.

    Wow, amazing transformation in just 5 months! Great job dude.
    Which split did you use from BLS, 3 day, 4 day or 5 day lifting?

    Mike, which do you recommend for optimal results during a cut?

      I would like to see the 3 and 4 day split programs outlined also.

    • I believe he was following the 5-day split and if you’re new to lifting, that’s going to be best.

      If you’re experienced you’re not going to build any muscle to speak of and so 3 x per week would be fine for maintaining but 5 x per week will burn more energy and thus help you lose fat faster. Up to you…

    Hey Mike, did Jeroen go on a bulk or cut for all those 5 months? It looks like he built more muscle but at the same time lost so much fat. So he was training plus a calorie surplus or deficit?

    Good to know bls works well non natty too. This would take at least a year, maybe more…. Come on Mike. Would have been different if he had the muscle to start with and just dropped the fat.

    Hi Mike, really enjoy the articles and information, although I think you dropped the ball on this one. This guy looked like what I looked like when I started three months back. I’m no where near what this guy has achieved at his three month picture. I think he’s either on ‘something’ or he’s not being completely honest with the timeframes or if he’s using some kind of enhancers.

    Mike, I normally enjoy the transformation before/after articles but this one is a little hard to believe. 5 months? If it is true I would love an answer to the same question Tony asked. Did he bulk or cut ect. I’d like to see more details in theses posts in the future about the cut/bulk sequence. Love your program and products!.
