In 5 months time I’ve lost only 4 pounds but my body fat did go down from approx 16% to 8%. The big lift’s like Squats and Deadlifts (which I never did before) did go up fast. Started both at 120 lbs and doubled it in 5 months. I’m benching 205 at this moment.
I haven’t hit the gym in more than 5 years before I start training again. That time I wasn’t happy with the results in over more than 2 years training.
I decided to do a little research on the Internet this time. Quickly I ended up on Mike’s site, ordered the book within minutes. What he describes in the book and all the great articles on his site convinced me in a way nobody ever did the gym.
Lifting heavy instead of 10 to 12 reps and logging my workouts gave me so much satisfaction. Every week I see results in the weights I lift. I also like the fact that I gain muscle with workouts shorter than 1 hour
I have trained before doing the exercises all the “experts” told me. Many drop sets and super sets, 10 to 12 reps per set. Now I am done in 50 minutes and feel great. This is the first time I’m eating clean and building lean muscle.
I have more energy and my confidence has grown. I also sleep better. It is all very positive in my daily life.
