Delicious protein shakes are my favorite for post-workout nutrition and this tasty little number hits the spot every time.

It’s from my cookbook Eat Green Get Lean and it not only tastes great but the cinnamon has some nice post-workout glucose control benefits as well!

 Ingredients

1/2 large banana, frozen

3/4 cup pitted cherries

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 cup almond milk

2 scoops vanilla or unflavored protein powder (rice or whey works best)

4 – 6 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

 Blend all ingredients together until desired consistency

    Could it really be 2 tablespoons? Does that really add up to 27grams of protein?
